Hello old friends! 

Don't take that too personally now that "old" might be beginning to sting a little!

This is Joan Pritchard.  Remember me?

I went searching the Web to see what Gospel Outreach stuff I could find. Most of what I found was at Verbo.org.  But I was in search for MORE! 

So I have scanned some of our old photos for this website. There are now photos from many of you on here too.  If you have a testimony or any old GO photos, just email me. Send the pics as .jpgs.

Our Family Now

This photo was taken July 18, 2008 at Justin and Emily's wedding in Pensacola, FL.  Jessica, 23, graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, IN this year and is planning on moving to S.Cal to find work in video editing in Hollywood.

Justin and Emily are living and working in Pensacola, FL.

Chris and I will be celebrating our 35th anniversary

this coming Feb. 2009. We are still busy with our leather

furniture repair business in Horsham, PA.

Gospel Outreach was part of the Jesus Movement in northern California in the early 1970's. Jim Durkin, pastor of Deliverance Temple in Eureka, CA opened his church doors to the hippies that came.  I found Jesus Christ as my Savior on August 5, 1972 at Deliverance Temple in Eureka, California.  I joined hundreds of new Christians who found Jesus through Gospel Outreach while hitch hiking across the country.  I moved to the Lighthouse Ranch on Table Bluff, outside of Eureka and learned about what it means to be a follower of Jesus.  I met my husband Chris while working at the Donut Shop.  We went "into all the world" January 1975 and moved to join the New York GO, then started a GO in Philly in 1977.  I hope you enjoy seeing the work of the Lord through our photos, and photos of others, taken during that time.  And if you haven't met Jesus, I hope you can see through these photos how He changes lives.     Joan

For those who found this website and do not know, the founder of Gospel Outreach, Jim Durkin, went home to the

Lord on January 12, 1996.  There are still Gospel Outreach churches on the west coast and in Eureka, CA, Oregon and Washington.  The Lighthouse  Ranch is no longer a Christian commune.  According to http://www.centexhomesnorcal.com/pledge_to_conservation.html and http://www.lighthousefriends.com:80/light.asp?ID=62 a visitor’s center will be built on the five-acre site that was previously the Lighthouse Ranch and has been purchased by

the Wildlife Conservation Board and Coastal Conservancy to create Table Bluff Ecological Preserve overlooking the

Eel River Delta, Humboldt Bay and the Pacific Ocean.

The cost of the 2 night/5 meal retreat will be $160.00 per person. You can stay at the Pali Mtn. Conf. Center or at local inns.

There will be a meal charge for those not staying at the Conference Center.

There will be also be a Birthday Party for Dacie on Sept. 26, 2009 in Eureka. We don't have the hall yet,

but I will get the word out as soon as I can. It is the same day Gospel Outreach will be dedicating their new church building.

* Thurs. Oct. 8th, we are inviting everyone to join us at Disneyland.

* Friday Oct 9 - 11 we will meet a Pali Mountain Conference Center,

outside Running Springs, Ca. for the actual Festival of the Son/Party.    

There are several activities we can plan, but we do plan on a Birthday Party for Mom and time for worship,

sharing, and spending plenty of time with friends you may not have seen for years.
